Catching Up (Week 8)

Doing things right the first time will save you a lot of work down the road. To get get an “A” on a project you have to take that extra 10% above the requirements to make sure your design is clean and professional looking. There are several steps for finalizing a project: camera raw, save print and web (including naming properly), putting in my dropbox, uploading to your site, etc.

In addition to those, also make sure to get into the habit of making sure it looks right on your Portfolio site. Remember each theme is different. Does your picture show up? Is it too big for your theme? Doing quality work becomes a habit if you practice it not only on every project for this class, but everything you do in life.

I added a new To Do List page for each class. The link is under the projects page for each class (aka rollover your class name on the top menu and under projects will be the to do list). As we start new projects they will be added to the list.
