The Future Belongs to You (Week 12)

The Future Belongs to You (Week 12)

“The future belongs to a very different kind of person with a very different kind of mind – creators and empathizers, pattern recognizers and meaning makers. These people…will now reap society’s richest rewards and share its greatest joys.” ~Daniel Pink

Manufacturing jobs are a thing of the past in the U.S. People who are going to succeed in the 21st Century are the idea makers. Communication and services are the paradigm of the new economy. Think about Facebook, Netflix, Twitter, etc. The key to being successful in these competitive industries is having creative ideas and being able to market them effectively.

Netflix started by delivering DVDs via the mail. So, why not be called Flix by Mail? Because they didn’t simply think short-term, they looked at where technology was headed and tailored their idea (service) for that future. Then they developed a brand around it.

With your logos and your Website, that is what your are doing. Building a brand around, YOU. So, take the time, be creative, and make sure everything looks professional.
