Technical:

For this project I used two fonts that I downloaded. I also used the black and white filter for the background. I also increased the grain of the background using a filter in photoshop.

ARtistic

For this project I used two filters on the background to give it more texture. The large font I chose was also used to give texture to the image. The way the font size changed throughout the quote was an effect used to give contrast to certain words in order to emphasize them.

Reflection

Overall I am satisfied with the project. I like how the background has texture and how the words have contrast. However I do not like how the poster does not have any color. I also dislike how the picture does is not all to creative with the way the words are presented. Next time I will be more creative in my work with typography.

Today I started and completed an independent project.  I worked on this project in photoshop. I used compositing, filters, and the lasso tool to enhance pictures that I found online. Next class period I will work on a new independent project and try to learn new tools to make my projects more exciting and realistic.
