Garageband: My Best Stuff

Use the loops in GarageBand to create an enhanced podcast highlighting the best work you did for the semester and reflecting on what you learned.

Music

  1. Start a new Podcast project.
  2. Use a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 different TRACKS to create your own jingle.
  3. Use a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 10 different musical LOOPS.
  4. Do not use any of the preset Jingles in GarageBand, you must create your own original jingle!

Images

  1. Include your 5 best projects.
  2. 1 image in Episode Artwork drop zone.
  3. In the Chapter Title column, type a Title for each image in your podcast.
  4. Show the Mixers by clicking the disclosure triangle in the upper right corner of the Tracks column. In the Jingles Mixer slide the volume slider down to the left so that the Music does not overpower the Voice track narration.
  5. Go to Track>Show Track Info (+I). Type a 1 paragraph description of your podcast in the Description window
  6. **Extra Credit: Verbal description of each image:
    1. The original assignment.
    2. How you created the image – include what tools you used and how you applied them.
    3. Make sure music volume is less than narration.
