Good day Visitor. Here at the CIA our goal is to train World Class™ Designers. One of the most important tools in a designer's arsenal is a portfolio highlighting their best work to share with art schools, potential employers, and potential clients.
In this mission you are going to set up a Behance portfolio to showcase the projects that you create in the CIA.
Behance is the leading online platform to showcase & discover creative work. The creative world updates their work in one place to broadcast it widely and efficiently. In addition, companies explore the work and have access to talent on a global scale.
You are going to create a Behance portfolio to use throughout your time in the CIA. If you choose to pursue a career as a designer, this portfolio can move with you into college, and continue on with you into your career. Behance is backed by Adobe and has become the industry standard for showcasing design work.
You will be following along with a teacher from another school as he walks you through setting up your Behance account. Be smart! When he says use masonohioschools email you know to use YOUR school email instead, right? Right?
Don't use your full name. Use your First Name and Last Initial only.
When you are all setup COPY the URL of your new portfolio. You are going to need it in the next mission.
If you have setup your Behance account COMPLETE the mission.
Remember Visitor if you want credit for your projects in the CIA they will have to be uploaded to your Behance portfolio and submitted to Canvas.
