Learn HTML & CSS In 30 Days: Week 1

Visitor so you wanna be a Web Designer, aye? Well step right up. Web Design is a fast growing career with a lot of flexibility.

The foundation to good Web Design is understanding code. More specifically HTML and CSS. When the BOSS got his start in Web Design CSS didn't exist. Boy where things messy back then. You, though, get to learn a better way. Your goal is to learn how to write clean and well structured code. Learn to do things the right way. Let's get started.

We have a guest training officer on this mission. Jeffrey Way from Tuts+. Hop on the Tram and head over to his dojo.

You'll need to sign up for a free account. Once you have done that check out the Course Introduction and then head over to the Week 1 training modules.

Work through each module making sure to document what you have learned along the way. I suggest screenshots and jot down some notes in a training log.

Good job Visitor. Learning code is never easy. Create a new post on your SITREP "30 Days: Week 1" and document what you learned during the Week 1 training module. Don't forget to add the proper category (probably something like Web Designer).

Awesome job. You have completed Week 1 of the 30 Days to Learn HTML & CSS challenge. Are you ready for Week 2?
